TAKSU Kuala Lumpur at Art Expo Malaysia Plus 2018

This October, TAKSU Kuala Lumpur invites all avid art lovers to Booth #9 & 10 of the 11th edition of Art Expo Malaysia Plus.
Staying true to its contemporary theme and efforts in bringing forth South East Asian artists, Taksu’s booth will be showcasing new works by local key artists such as
Fauzulyusri, Najib Bamadhaj, Syahmi Jamaluddin, Zulkifli Lee, Fazrin Abd Rahman, Fendy Zakri, Agnes Lau, Afiq Faris, Aziz Latif, Amsyar Ramly, Isa Ishak, Sabihis Md Pandi
and Ho Mei Kei. The exhibition offers a significant opportunity to engage with local works of art that demonstrate their makers’ yearly progress in technique, concept, medium and
commentaries. Anton Subianto’s artworks which often highlights the Javanese life philosophy of tepo seliro which upholds the values of tolerance, respect for others, and empathy.
Closer to home, viewers are also given a chance to view Singaporean artists such as Jamie Tan and Keith Teo for an interesting take on our nearest comparison of how education in the
arts very tremendously despite our iden&cal culture. Taksu’s booth aims to represent an interesting confluence of local and international trends as a way of showing the international
platform of our advancement in the art industry.

Art Expo Malaysia (AEM) is a prestigious and the longest-running international art fair in Southeast Asia.
This year’s art fair will feature 65 reputable art galleries from 22 countries, exhibiting some 1,500 pieces of artworks under one roof.
