About

Located minutes from central Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the TAKSU Artist Residency Program (TARP) is a working retreat for local and international visual artists. TARP was established in 2004, with the vision of providing artists the space and means to fully immerse themselves in their craft over a 45 - 60 days residency.
TARP aims to:
-Promote transnational mobility and intercultural dialogue among artists
-Provide artists with access to the contemporary art scene in the region
-Strengthen professional standards of participating artists
Every artist residency concludes with a solo exhibition spanning four to six weeks. The exhibition will be held at either TAKSU Kuala Lumpur or TAKSU Singapore, or both.
