In every field of the canvas, it is loaded with layers of meaning and representations. The presence of these objects in the canvas is a short story where he had to drug dependence in remission for a year. Objects in the present in its simplicity module – unravelled, scattered which somehow coincide. What is received from the eyes of the media camera is then subsequently transferred as visuals onto the canvas.
An alumni from Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Denpasar (ISI Denpasar), Agus made a name with his hyperrealist style, realism and pop. With numerous international exhibitions line-up, his talent is widely recognised and appreciated. In 2010, he was awarded Top 30 Finalist The 2005 Sovereign Asian Art Prize by The Sovereign Art Foundation in Hong Kong.
