Yoss Yoseff

b. 1995, Malaysia

Yoss Yoseff is an artist in fashion design. He received his degree in 2018 from the UiTM Malaysia, and is currently pursuing his master’s in design technology.

Yoss’ work is dedicated to his mother. Through his art he admires his beloved mother and her devotion to her family. Drawing from his personal well of experiences, his pieces capture a deep affection through human portraiture, with joy and tribulation embraced by the warmth of the batik fabric.

Over the years, Yoss has participated in several regional group exhibitions across Malaysia and Singapore, and has been selected and awarded for his talents; Jury’s Pick (2020), Art Against AIDS Competition (2019) Alumni Award Degree Fashion Show, Silver Award UiTM Shah Alam (2019). Having a successful sold-out show for his first solo exhibition, “Ronta Jiwa”, at TAKSU Kuala Lumpur in March 2023,  Yoss is on a path toward an extraordinary career as a young artist. His current host of works line the walls of private collectors and he continues to exhibit and do special commissioned artwork with TAKSU.
