TAKSU Booth – B8 & B9
This October, TAKSU invites all avid art lovers to Booth B8 & B9 of the 13th edition of Art Expo Malaysia 2019.
Staying true to its contemporary theme and efforts in bringing forth South East Asian artists, TAKSU’s booths will be showcasing new contemporary artworks by Malaysian and International key artists such Fauzulyusri, Fazrin Abd Rahman, Fendy Zakri, Zulkifli Lee, Budi Agung Kuswara (Kabul), Chris Cook, Chongwoon Choi and Rudolf Burda.
The exhibition offers a significant opportunity to engage with local and international works of art that demonstrate their makers’ yearly progress in technique, concept, medium and commentaries.
Rudolf Burda from Czech Republic, primarily works with glass and designs stainless steel sculptures. Rudolf’s work follows a minimalistic legacy, searching for the ideal and pure form. He aims to contribute to the preservation of the old tradition of hand-blown glass together with developing and perfecting it. His works are represented in various art collections in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Holland, Great Britain, United States of America, Malaysia and the Middle East.
Kabul’s artworks, based on his Balinese traditions and known for its playful imagery and replete with satire and symbolism, have graced exhibitions in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Italy and in the UK.
TAKSU’s exhibition at Booth B8 & B9 aims to represent an interesting confluence of local and international trends as a way of showing the international platform of our advancement in the art industry.
