In Small Measures

A Group Exhibition at TAKSU Kuala Lumpur

TAKSU Kuala Lumpur proudly presents our first exhibition of 2026: In Small Measures.

This exhibition brings together a curated selection from TAKSU’s collection with key pieces from the participating artists’ archives, creating a dialogue between representation and legacy. It reflects TAKSU’s commitment to contemporary art and offers a rare look at works that have shaped the artists’ personal practices.

The curation embraces plurality in scale, intentionally highlighting smaller, intimate pieces that are frequently overlooked in favour of larger works. By returning these works to the gallery floor, the exhibition challenges the cycle where art is moved into permanent storage after brief public exposure. These pieces offer vital entry points for new and emerging collectors to start their collections, providing an accessible pathway to begin a collection with pieces of high artistic integrity.

Each artwork carries a unique history, from international exhibition pieces to personal milestones. Available for acquisition, these significant works offer direct access to pieces rarely released publicly, functioning as a living marketplace where art of every scale continues its journey beyond the gallery. Join us to celebrate the launch of our 2026 season!
