TAKSU presents “Ronta Jiwa“, a debut solo exhibition by Yoss Yoseff.

Yoss Yoseff is a graduate from Fashion Design in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) who pursue his career as a fine artist. His love for human figure and garments are evident in this series of artworks. Driven by the wealth and variety of outlooks in this world, his personal experiences and exchanges with the people who crossed his path have profoundly shaped the themes and direction of his practice. He aspires to continue to create artworks that will touch and impact his audiences in a meaningful way.

Ronta Jiwa gives a meaning of the liberation of the soul. This exhibition is a personal and emotional journey for the artist. An expression of a series of life episodes that were delicate and not easy to share, but certainly needed. It is his way of telling a story in an honest manner, in which he wants to reflect the past and liberate himself. This collection is set within the parameters of his intrinsic sense of self and memories of his beloved mother. It includes speaking about his experiences dealing with childhood memories as he unfolds his artistic insight and capabilities.

Ronta Jiwa hopes for audience to experience love in many ways.
