Born in the vibrant city of Johor Bahru, Syafiq Hariz is a rising artist who has recently attained a Master in Fine Art and Technology from UiTM Malaysia.

Syafiq creates colourful sculpture pieces revolving around tiger caricatures. Exploring human emotions and demeanours, his pieces feature exaggerated and lively scenes through the tiger subject. With a style that references pop culture, his work leans toward graphics, resulting in pieces that have a playful, carefree, but striking nature.

His artistic journey has been marked by active participation in exhibitions spanning from 2007, with his creative endeavours captivating audiences not only in his homeland but also in the artistic hubs of China and Singapore. Syafiq’s dedication to his craft has earned him prestigious recognition, including the esteemed Honourable Mention Award from the esteemed Asia Illustrations Collection, presented at the illustrious Shanghai Hongqiao Contemporary Art Museum in both 2019 and 2017. His artistic prowess shines brightly on the international stage, promising a future of artistic brilliance.
